Ravioli with Spinach

Hello world! Long time no talk! I just finished cooking and eating a lovely dinner for Mr. Sweets and me, and I wanted to share the recipe with you! I didn't take any pictures because I was busy scoffing it down.

So check out this link to get the original recipe! It's super simple and it only took about 15 minutes!

I have completely abandoned my blog for such a long time! I am so sorry! I have been so busy with schoolwork, volunteering, and trying not to spend so much money! Baking happens to be quite expensive at times...

I hope everyone is doing well! Maybe I'll do a bit of baking this summer whilst I have off! I have a whole list of things I want to do, such as painting, relearning the violin, and dancing on Just Dance 3! Love it!

I've Failed You...

Yup, it's happened again.

It's been over 2 weeks since I've shared a delicious recipe with you!

For that, I apologize. School work is taking over my life and I seem to be doing a paper every single week.

In the meantime, you can check me out on Pinterest where I repin lots of pretty treats I see!!

Or you can find me on Facebook where I tell you what I'm cooking!

Apple Chips-A Must Try!

So, here's my problem.

I crave crunchy things like, all the time.

I don't mean celery or any of that healthy stuff. I'm talking about a beautiful, salty, unhealthy potato chip!

I know what you're thinking....Miss Sweets! Just have some!!

No! I don't like peer pressure. Nor do I like gaining weight and having pimples all over my face.

What's the alternative, you ask?

None other than APPLE CHIPS! And guess what?! All you do is cut them REALLY thin, which I could not attempt successfully with a knife, throw them on a baking sheet, add cinnamon and/or sugar if you are so inclined, and bake at 100 C / 200 F for about 2 or so hours!

And enjoy something tasty and addictive that won't make you feel guilty!

My Red Velvet Cupcake Adventure

Let me take you through a journey...

A Red Velvet Cupcake journey.

Now, back in August 2010, I made my cousin, Frankie, who passed away last February, some Red Velvet Cupcakes while he was in the ICU. Mind you, they were made from a Betty Crocker box, but this is what started me on my love for baking cupcakes, and he loved them!

When I moved back to England, I attempted these wonderful American treats, and guess what?? I used an *entire* bottle of red food coloring and they still didn't turn red! How upsetting!

The other day, I decided to try again. This time, with red food PASTE!

Look at my little pretty red cupcakes!!!! I love you, my little red wonders!!

Not only that, but I figured out my oven temperature and voila! My cupcakes are nice and flat!! Perfecto!

Yeah, I'm a bit nuts. Now enjoy my picture!! :)
